Hand-decanted in Winnipeg — shipped across Canada

Perfume decants, in sizes you can actually live with.

We buy full retail bottles and split them by hand into 5 ml, 10 ml and 30 ml glass sprays. Same liquid, a fraction of the outlay, and enough of it to wear a fragrance for weeks before deciding whether it deserves a whole bottle.

Why buy from Winnipeg

Every fragrance here gets worn in a real Canadian winter.

Note pyramids are copied from the same three websites by everyone selling decants, and they tell you almost nothing about how a fragrance behaves once it is on skin. What we can tell you is how it performs here — Winnipeg runs from about −30 °C in January to +30 °C in July, which is a wider swing than almost anywhere else fragrance gets reviewed.

As wear notes accumulate they go on the product pages: how long it lasted, how far it carried, and whether the cold flattened it.

−30 °C

January

Cold suppresses projection. Fragrances that read as loud in a shop can sit flat against skin under a parka, and the heavier, resinous ones tend to be the only things still detectable by afternoon.

+30 °C

July

Heat does the opposite and pushes everything outward. The same fragrance that needed four sprays in winter can be too much at two, and sweeter compositions in particular turn cloying fast.

Choosing a size

How much fragrance is actually in a decant?

Spray counts vary with the atomizer and how heavily you spray, so treat these as close estimates rather than promises. They are enough to work out which size matches how you intend to wear it.

5 ml

About 50 sprays

Two to three weeks of regular wear. The right size for finding out whether a fragrance genuinely suits you, which is a different question from whether you liked it on a card in a shop.

10 ml

About 100 sprays

Roughly a month and a half of regular wear. Our most common size, and the one to pick if you already know you like the fragrance and want to wear it through a season.

30 ml

About 300 sprays

A genuine bottle's worth without the bottle. Makes sense for a signature scent, or for anything priced high enough that a full retail bottle is hard to justify.

Full bottle

Sealed retail packaging

Some fragrances are worth committing to outright. Where we can source them we list the full bottle alongside the decants, in its original packaging rather than decanted.
